New Website & Fund Raising Update

After so 8 months into the project, we are happy to announce that we have a brand new website.  Please check it out!

Also, we had our first ever fund raising event last Friday, 21/2/14.  Thanks to you, our supporters, we were able to raise £171.84 from the bake sale.  More information will be coming in our monthly updates.

January & February 2014 Update

Dear All,

It has been a week since the end of January.  We would like to update you with the activities for these two months:

1. We are happy to have Rock Trust, an organisation working with homeless youths, join our list of organisations.
2. We have had several regular donations in January: 
1. M.S. - £10
2. S.A. - £50
3. We have issued 60 vouchers worth £300 to Rock Trust, Bethany Trust and One Parent Families.
4. With the donations and outgoings, we have £293.33 left in the bank.
5. We received from Aroma Cafe 30 redeemed vouchers.  17 are from Saheliya, 7 from Bethany Trust and 6 from One Parent Families.
6. We also received the good news that Saheliya has managed to issue out all the vouchers we gave them earlier.  We hope to be able to give them more in the February issuance.

In order to raise more funds for the future issuance of the meal vouchers, we are organising a bake sale: 
Date:           Friday, 21st February 2014.  
Time:          2pm.  
Venue:        Outside Central Mosque, Edinburgh and beside Aroma Cafe and Mosque Kitchen.
